چکیده
A young 22-year-old male presented with complaints of pain, tingling, and numbness over his right wrist for 1 year had a history falls on outstretched hand. Radiological evaluations such as X-rays were done, which showed break in the proximal carpal arc. An MRI affected was done. findings are suggestive avascular necrosis lunate along dislocation marrow edema/contusion lunate. Complete disruption scapholunate, lunotriquetral, radioscaphocapitate ligaments noted. The patient operated excision tunnel release given strict pillow cover elevation volar slab.

Neglected lunate dislocation presenting as carpal tunnel syndrome
Most of carpal tunnel syndrome cases are idiopathic, and secondary causes are so rare that can be easily missed. We present a patient with neglected undiagnosed lunate dislocation compressing on median nerve causing its signs and symptoms.
متن کاملLunate dislocation.
Carpal dislocations are wrist injuries and Lunate dislocation is its severe form. Lunate and perilunate dislocations are uncommon. These injuries have significant clinical impact on the patient but are easily missed and lead to potentially devastating effect if mismanaged. This case report outlines the important clinical aspects and management of Lunate dislocation.

Kienb#{246}ck’s avascular necrosis of the lunate bone still poses problems both in its etiology and management. Excision ofthe bone has received little support in the past. Thus St#{225}hl(1947) in an extensive review of the condition concluded that the operation should be abandoned. Therkelsen and Andersen ( 1949) reviewed 109 cases and found that the worst results followed excision. Dornan (1...

متن کاملUltrasonography Detected Missed Lunate Volar Dislocation Associated With Median Neuropathy: A Case Report
Lunate and perilunate dislocations are uncommon, but they have clinical importance because complications, such as median neuropathy and avascular necrosis of the lunate, can occur. Although early diagnosis enabling early surgical treatment is crucial for preventing long-term sequelae, these dislocations are frequently missed in the initial assessment. Imaging tools, such as plain radiography, m...
